Malas are an energetically infused physical reminder of whatever intention you are working on. It’s laced with healing symbolism that dates back to ancient times yet is still translatable to modern day. By working with this daily and wearing it on your body it can assist in reaching your goals and intentions in the most harmonious way.

Malas are made from 108 beads that are made out of some time of crystal, lava, wood, or seed in order to bring a certain vibration to what your intention is. Each bead will be hand picked to be in alignment with your desired intentions. They can be worn around your neck as a necklace or wrapped around your wrist as bracelet style.

Physically cleaning your Mala -

• For most Malas, put a few drops of mild dishwashing liquid into a bowl of room temperature water and soak for up to 5 minutes. Keep tassel out of water if possible. Use a cloth to wipe the beads in a circular motions then pat dry with a clean soft towel and place in a warm place to dry. use a damp warm cloth to wipe and then another towel to blot it dry for more sensitive stones such as azurite, selenite, lapis lazuli, opal, turquoise, amber, emerald, chrysocolla, pearl and malachite

• For Malas that include azurite, lapis lazuli, selenite, amber, emerald, chrysacholla, opal, turquoise, pearl and malachite do not use the above method. Instead, wipe the beads with a slightly damp soft cloth and immediately dry them.

  Energetically cleaning your mala -

• Bathe the stones under the light of the full moon

• Smudge with burning incense or sage (have the smoke clean them)

• Burry it in the ground and allow the earth to cleanse it for you (make sure you mark where it is so you can find it later!)
